Exhibition Zones
PART 01 | External Fixation Systems
CareFix displayed four internationally recognized external fixation systems: unilateral, modular, circular, and hexapod frames, alongside diverse accessories. A standout was the new hydroxyapatite-coated external fixation pin, featuring three tip designs (self-tapping, conical, and self-drilling). Notably, the self-tapping tip reduces insertion torque by 42% compared to non-self-tapping alternatives.
PART 02 | Pediatric & Foot/Ankle Internal Fixation Systems
Innovations included the adjustable figure-8 plate, pediatric femoral locking intramedullary nail, and ankle fusion nail system designed to simplify surgical workflows and reduce operation time. Other highlights:
Bone pins (Kirschner wires, Steinmann pins, olive wires, breakable pins, full-threaded pins)
Non-locking intramedullary nails (extendable nails, hook nails, telescopic nails)
U-shaped staples (for osteotomy or ligament fixation)
Subtalar joint stabilization screws
PART 03 | Trauma & Spinal Internal Fixation Systems
The titanium alloy Locking Plate System, especially the HTO (High Tibial Osteotomy) locking plate, emerged as a crowd favorite. New spinal solutions included:
Thoracolumbar Posterior Pedicle Screw-Rod System with a 50° conical range of motion for enhanced screw placement flexibility and anti-backout design.
PEEK interbody fusion cages, offering a modulus of elasticity close to natural bone to improve fusion rates.
