Pediatric long bone fractures: Transverse, short oblique, wedge, or short spiral shaft fractures; segmental/pathologic fractures (e.g., bone cysts).
Metaphyseal/epiphyseal fractures: Radial neck fractures; small long bones (carpals/tarsals).
Complex clavicular fractures: Significant displacement, shortening, or "floating shoulder".
Open fractures or threatened skin perforation.
